NYS OASAS Launches New Public Awareness Campaign on the Dangers of Synthetic Drugs

The New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services recently announced a new public awareness campaign to inform New Yorkers about the serious health risks of synthetic drugs, commonly called synthetic marijuana. The campaign, announced at Capital for a Day in Syracuse, consists of a television public service announcement, posters, and palm cards that will warn and educate New Yorkers about the dangerous and potentially deadly effects of these highly toxic substances. The PSA will air Statewide in October.
