CFLR, Inc. Receives $1,000 from Stewart’s Holiday Match Grant

March, 2015 – Center for Family Life and Recovery, Inc. is pleased to announce the receipt of a Stewart’s Holiday Match Grant totaling $1,000.00. The funds received are to be used for children 18 years of age and under and will support the necessary action items to support CFLR, Inc.’s Youth That Cares program (YTC).

CFLR, Inc.’s YTC program works to reduce binge and heavy drinking among youth, as well as ways to reduce youth exposure to alcohol marketing. The group will work with convenience stores, such as Stewart’s Shops to reduce youth targeted alcohol marketing practices.

Funding has been made possible by Stewart’s Holiday Match Grant. Customers donated more than $770,000 last year from Thanksgiving through Christmas. Stewart’s matched the amount collected, bringing the total amount awarded to charities and organizations to over $1.5 million!
