Qualifications:
- Preferred minimum of associate degree in a related field and 2 years of experience. A bachelor’s degree in related human service field in psychology, addictions, social work, education, human services, social science or related field is strongly preferred.
- Have lived experience as a parent or guardian.
- Demonstrated ability in program implementation and organization.
- Current and valid NYS driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help families and individuals identify goals and track progress through the Family Peer Advocacy model.
- Participate as the FPA in specific evidence-based treatment models.
- Initiate and support parent support and skills groups.
- Help families learn about special education services, procedures, and rights.
- Facilitate effective family-provider partnerships.
- Provide support to incarcerated individuals and their families through the implementation of evidence-based parenting programs, including Parenting Inside Out, Active Parenting, Active Parenting of Teens, and Strengthening Families.
- Becoming accredited in specific evidence-based family programming.
- Must adhere to OASAS prevention guidelines with programming.
- Foster effective parent-professional partnership and promote the practice of family-driven and youth-guided approaches.
- Develop and provide community presentations as requested.
- Will attend mandatory prevention and family programming trainings, workshops, and conferences.
- Compile program data for local and state reporting requirements for monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Assist in strategic planning and development and following work plan.
- Assist with completion of programming related to the work plan.
- Build collaborative partnerships with local, regional and state agencies.
- Travel required within Oneida County.
- Become familiar and well versed in community agencies and supportive services.
- Perform other duties as requested.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm (Hybrid optional)
Salary Range: $35,000 – $42,000 (DOE)
Qualifications:
- Associate degree or higher
- Two years’ experience in job related field such as non-profit work or managing volunteer programs and/or coordinating events.
Job Responsibilities:
Volunteer Coordination:
- Develop, promote, and maintain a wide range of volunteer opportunities within the organization.
- Survey staff regularly assess the need for volunteer assistance.
- Ensure volunteers are staffed to support the various programs to include Prevention outreach events, recovery outreach events, fundraising events.
- Schedule all volunteer activity
- Organize and participate in volunteer recognition programs and events.
- Maintain accurate records and provide timely statistical and activity reports on volunteer participation.
- Recruit, interview, and place applicants for volunteer work at various fundraising events and in regular positions.
- Work with Marketing to publicize opportunities for volunteers.
- Develop and maintain relationships with other volunteer organizations within the area.
- Utilize volunteer management system for application, background checks, sign up pages as needed.
- Track and report volunteer hours monthly
Event Coordination:
- Coordination of CFLR’s participation in community events for programs as needed.
- Schedule staff and volunteers for events as needed or required.
- Collaborate with Community Educators on community engagement events.
- Coordinate Professional Development quarterly meetings and annual conference.
- Work with development staff to coordinate fundraising and maximizing external events and assisting the development team in all aspects of the fundraising process as needed.
- Develop and ensure all details of events are secured including vendors.
- Provide event coaching, direction, oversight, scheduling, planning and production assistance for program staff, volunteers, and committees.
- Manage and track event progress towards fundraising goals, providing updates to CDO regularly.
- Assist development team with in-kind and sponsor solicitations for events as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all in-kind and monetary donations for events.
- Maintain appropriate electronic and paper files for all events.
- Collaborate with the CDO to implement annual development goals and strategic plans.
- Utilize donor information systems to track donor relationships, actions, meetings, and development goals.
