CFLR, Inc. Holds Holiday Food/Clothing Drive to support Thea Bowman House Food Pantry Needs
December, 2014 – Center for Family Life and Recovery, Inc. will be holding a food and clothing drive for the Thea Bowman House now through December 19th. Non-perishable food items such as canned meats, veggies and fruits as well as pet food are needed. In addition, new and gently worn hats, mittens, coats and boots would be greatly appreciated. Please drop off your non-perishable items and/or clothing to CFLR, Inc.’s Utica office at 502 Court Street, Suite 401 Monday-Friday between 8:30AM – 4:00PM. If you wish to make a donation anytime of the year, please bring your donations to the Thea Bowman House Monday-Friday before 3:00PM.
Thea Bowman House initially started in 1986 as Agape House and was later established as Thea Bowman House in 1996. They serve over 300 low-income, at risk children from 18 months through 18 years and their families throughout the City of Utica. This Holiday season we ask that you please think of those who are less fortunate and help CFLR, Inc. by donating food and clothing to those in need. For additional inquiries, please contact Community Programs Director, Judith H. Reilly at 315.733.1709.
Center for Family Life and Recovery, Inc. is proud to be the area’s leading expert for advocacy, prevention, counseling, and training. As a community partner, it is important to us that we continue spreading the message of help and hope to our area and with those whom we work.
